In our new life we consider ourselves as dead to sin and we conduct ourselves by presenting ourselves to God as instruments for doing righteousness. This week we look at our next Big Word in God’s Big Plan: Resurrection – Raised from death to eternal life. We see from Romans 6:1-14 that because Jesus has been raised from the dead, we’ve been given new life to live for Him.

Justification can feel like a negative word. Afterall, people are always trying to justify themselves. But for Christians, justification is a beautiful word. Justification is what God has done for us through his Son Jesus. This week we see from Romans 4 that it is not we who justifies ourselves, but God who justifies us through faith. Knowing that we are justified by faith we are free to admit our mistakes, trusting in God who justifies us by faith in Christ.
